Stephanie and Jacob met the good old fashioned way- the way that our forefathers intended- on the internet.

Jacob was intrigued by the accounting themed punchlines on Stephanie's dating profile and Stephanie was enamored by Jacob's kind smile. The two talked via dating apps for a few months before tax season allowed for enough time to go on a proper date.

The two went hiking on the first date and hit it off immediately. Stephanie likes to say that she knew as soon as she met Jacob that he "spoke her language". They bonded over similar senses of humor, shared music taste, and a love for animals. The first date got even better when the two went for a post-hike sandwich and beers at The Garage and agreed that when it came to their shared sandwich, there was no such thing as "too much sauerkraut".

The hike to King's Chair in 2019 started it all. Stephanie and Jacob have since shared countless hikes, beers, and sandwiches. Of all the things the two have shared, they are most excited to share their futures together.
